Join Dewstow

Membership at Dewstow gives you 36 holes to play, a full fixture list through the year and a clubhouse that people actually stay in after a round. At our peak more than a thousand golfers called this their home club.

What membership includes

  • Playing rights on the Park and the Valley course
  • An official handicap
  • A full fixture list, including the Members and Guests
  • Use of the 24-bay floodlit driving range and the practice greens
  • Changing rooms, lockers and the pro shop
  • Oakley’s restaurant and the members’ bar

Categories

We keep a range of categories so that what you pay reflects how often you actually get out: seven-day membership for golfers who play at weekends and in club competitions, weekday membership for those who play Monday to Friday, junior membership for under 18s coming through the Academy, and country membership for members who live further afield.

Subscription rates are reviewed each year, and we would rather quote you the current figure than have you read an out-of-date one here. Call the office on 01291 430444 or email [email protected] and we will send the current list with what each category covers.

How to join

  1. Come and see the place. We are happy to show you round and put you out on the course so you know what you are joining.
  2. Pick the category that matches how often you play.
  3. Complete an application at the office. Bring your handicap certificate if you have one; if you do not, the Academy will help you get a handicap.

Ask about paying by instalments when you apply — most members find it easier than one payment at the start of the year.
