M35 Single Decal Wehrmacht Helmet

A nice example of an early former double decal helmet that had the national colors insignia removed as per 1940 specs. The M35 shell is maker marked EF62 and retains 98% of the early "apple" green smooth texture paint. The Wehrmacht decal remains 97% intact and shows very good detail. The early alloy split-pins are tight and un-tampered with. The aluminum re-enforced liner band is maker marked and dated 1938. The leather of the liner is the correct early chrome tanned type and is in very nice condition. Overall this helmet is completely original and makes a fine specimen of a pre-war helmet used well into the war years.
