Roy Noble - O.B.E.
Roy

part time at first but Roy is now one of the best loved and most
listened to broadcasters in Wales. His unique brand of humour,
easy-going personality and power of verbal communication had made his
daily BBC radio Wales programme one of the most popular in Wales for
which he received a Sony Award in 1999.
Roy
has also had a highly successful career in television, BBC & S4C -
working both in the medium of Welsh and English. He has a number of
successful television series for BBC Wales to his credit, including:
The Noble Trial, Noble Thoughts, Noble Guides, Noble Castles, Reel
Times, Garden Festival of Wales, See you Sunday, Station Road, A way
with Numbers, A Parents Guides.
Roy
is very much involved with charity organisations throughout Wales. He
has been awarded the OBE for services to the community and for charity
support in Wales.
Roy’s inimitable style of story-telling leaves his audiences
spellbound.

Chris Needs -
M.B.E.
Radio
Presenter and actor, Stage performer and compere, figurehead of a
registered charity, School music teacher and accomplished classical
pianist. Raconteur and award-winning show business personality.
Among his friends he numbers both world-renowned stars and the
ordinary person alike, and is a real friend to the thousands of his
BBC Radio Wales listeners who tune in to his show every week night, or
are among the 40,000+ members of the 'Chris Needs Friendly Garden'.
Since first getting a lift in Richard Burton's car while a youngster
(Chris lived in Cwmafan, the next village to Burton's birthplace of
Pontrhydyfen near Port Talbot), He took the plunge himself and entered
show business as a keyboard player - at one time accompanying Bonnie
Tyler.
Every day's a Garden party when Chris is around.
